OFF STAGE INTERVENTION

For the Cabaret Kultura festival at Whitechapel Gallery in East London the gallery space was transformed into a bar where on-stage performances took place. Off stage intervention challenges the context of the bar by intruding the space with sound. In constant movement performers use glasses and bottles to create a variety of tones. The performance finishes as unexpectedly as it starts melding into an ordinary bar scene.
